Robby started her artistic life in 1993 when she began photographing hummingbirds and other wild life in Arizona. Her enjoyment of photography with nature, birds and mammals provided many opportunities to travel. She has toured Europe, traveled widely throughout the United States, driven down the Baja California coast and her latest adventure was to Antarctica.
In the past seven years she has expanded her interests and art into other mediums. Exploring handmade paper, ceramics, clay mono-prints, jewelry and enameling. Her current interest is in creating multi-media pieces.
Robby has studied with well-known Bay Area Artists, Linda Lemon, Bonnie Boller and Joe Silvera. She is a member of the Alameda Women Artists and enjoys participating in group shows and Pro Arts Open Studios.
Retirement in 2012 has given the opportunity to devote more time and energy to her art and travels.
Robby was born in Monterey, California and has spent most of her life in the Bay Area. She has lived in Virginia and Montana and now resides in Alameda.
